famous couple book

In this project, we practiced the ideas narrating through illustration, typography, and composition, by thinking abstractly to create a metaphor. The Design Brief: "Penguin Books is launching a new series called ‘Famous Couples.’ Each book tells the story of a famous couple."
I chose Nani Peleki and David Kawene from lilo and stitch due to their wholesome and supporting relationship. In this project, we can only use three colors without gradient or opacity control, Black, White, and the Penguin orange (#F58344). Another part of the design brief is to not illustrate the couple but to use items or metaphors to represent them.
